The hills of Prosecco di Conegliano and Valdobbiadene are UNESCO World Heritage Sites – Italian Cuisine

The UNESCO World Assembly has recognized the beauty and importance of one of the most important Italian wine territories

"The daring descents and the ascents sang Lucio Battisti. And it is an image that adapts perfectly to the hills of Prosecco di Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, declared yesterday as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, "To be protected and protected for the uniqueness of the landscape cultural reads in the motivation.
A landscape profoundly forged by man, which for centuries has cultivated the vine on inaccessible slopes, where work is carried out exclusively by hand and costs time and effort.

The process of the candidacy, concluded yesterday with the proclamation in Baku during the meeting of the Unesco world assembly, is lasted ten years and saw the commitment of the governor of the Veneto Region Luca Zaia and of the winemakers of the denomination Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore. However, there is no wonder of this important recognition: just think that the first road of Italian wine was created in this very area in 1966: fifty kilometers long, it connects Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, passing through some of the most beautiful villages in Italy, abbeys and monuments of the first order.

The landscape of the Prosecco di Conegliano and Valdobbiadene hills is the 55th Italian site registered in the UNESCO list and the 10th in the world in the "cultural landscape" category; the only similar in Italy is that of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato.

Prosecco popsicles and other cocktails to freeze – Italian Cuisine

Many critics received Ivanka Trump for her Champagne icicles on Memorial Day a few years ago. But we assure you that they really exist and can be made at home … even with a cheap sparkling wine or a prosecco. Let's find out how

Who said that icicles are only enjoyed by children? Today we prepare an alcohol variant that is forbidden to minors. The secret ingredient? Prosecco.
If you like an aperitif made with iced prosecco, you can't miss the really iced variant … and on the stick.
Yes, we're talking about a prosecco ice lolly. Preparing it at home is very simple and you can have fun adding many other ingredients to turn your ice lolly into a real ice cocktail.

Does alcohol freeze?

Pure ethyl alcohol freezes at -114 ° C, while water at 0 ° C. In order to freeze alcohol you need to add a part of water and sugar and for this reason ice lollies of any kind always have a base of sweetened syrup. The alternative is a very powerful freezer that reaches temperatures below -114 ° C.

Prosecco popsicle recipe

First prepare a syrup based on water and sugar (50 ml of water and 40 g of sugar). Use a saucepan and let the sugar dissolve completely in the water over low heat. Let everything cool and then add 300 ml of prosecco. Pour the liquid into the ice lolly molds and let it cool in the freezer for a few hours.
If you do not have the stencils you can use paper cups, but then it will be difficult to keep the stick straight and it will still have to be inserted after two hours of freezer.

Fruity variants

You can also add fruit or pureed fruit to the base of prosecco and syrup. In this season the strawberries are still very sweet and tasty and the first peaches begin to ripen. You can also mix several fruits together and add leaflets of aromatic herbs such as mint, basil and lavender to give color and aroma to your popsicles.

Aperitif or after dinner

You can amaze your guests with a popsicle based aperitif. Instead of the tray with the glasses, you will bring to the table a tray full of popsicles to accompany canapés, focaccia, small sandwiches and snacks of all kinds. The same is true for after dinner. You can use a sweet sparkling wine for the popsicles to serve with the fruit already cut into pieces.

Have you tasted prosecco enamel? – Italian Cuisine

It smells of wine, it is sparkling, golden and delicious. From England, the perfect manicure for prosecco addicts

A glass of prosecco is never said no. Essential, engaging, pop and fresh. Jovial. A wine so cheerful that it has gone around the world without any work and that we like to share with the right people in the right evenings. And yet in some moments there is the desire for a small sip of solitary prosecco. That desire for freshness, cheerfulness and informality. Feel like partying, even alone. And precisely for these moments, Groupon UK has seen fit to create prosecco enamel. A cosmetic to wear, but also to smell and taste!

To do this simply spread it on the nails and bring it closer to the nose. From the first pass you will feel the characteristic fragrance of prosecco and, once dried for at least 15 minutes, you can even taste it. Prosecco enamel is sparkling and has a golden color reminiscent of the wine from which it takes its name. The more layers are spread, the more intense the gilding, but also the scent!
You just have to try it and get drunk on prosecco without drinking a drop. One warning: if you are always fighting with the habit of eating your nails … stay away from the enamel to prosecco.
