To prepare Cantonese rice, wash very carefully basmati rice and then cook it in cold water until completely absorbed. The proportion is of 280 g of rice for 560 ml of water.

450 g of type O flour
2 tablespoons of sugar
40 g of butter
15 cl of milk
3 egg yolks
yeast for instant bread
water and salt

Method

Start by heating the butter with a little water in a small saucepan and add the milk, stirring well. In a bowl put the flour with the sugar, a pinch of salt and the egg yolks and work the dough with your hands until you get a homogeneous mixture. At this point add the butter and milk that you had already prepared and work the pasta again. Add the instant yeast and let the mixture rest in a bowl for at least an hour.

Once it has risen, divide the dough into 8 balls and knead it to obtain a cylindrical shape with a diameter of about 4 cm. Then put the sandwiches on a baking sheet with parchment paper and sprinkle them with flour before putting them in the oven. If you want even softer bread you can brush it with milk before cooking it. Put them in the oven for about 20 minutes at a temperature of 200 °: they will be ready when the surface is golden brown.

Hot dogs for sausages

Once you've chosen the bread, it's time to think about the main ingredient of the sandwich: the würstel. Typical ones for hot dogs are pork, spicy and not very spicy. They are boiled for about six minutes (less if only one is prepared) in unsalted water and drained well before being placed in the sandwich.
