The name suggests it: the panfocaccia it is a combination of bread and focaccia characterized by a soft interior and a thin, crunchier crust on the outside and which is usually enjoyed accompanied by cured meats and cheeses.

In this recipe we used it ready-made, in the wholemeal version, and we cut it into very thin slices which we greased with oil and toasted in the oven. We thus obtained some crispy sheets that we stuffed with ricotta with herbs and lemon and raw ham for a truly delicious appetizer.

There Polignano carrot it is cultivated in the Bari area in lands close to the sea, and therefore saline, with traditional criteria, including irrigation with brackish water. It has a variable color from yellow to purple and a particular taste savory and fresh. It also contains less sugar of common carrots.

In this recipe we offer it cooked in the oven with herbs, a preparation that is completed with toasted bread cubes, feta crumbled, chervil and ginger for an easy and light appetizer or side dish. As an alternative to Polignano carrots you can use common carrots or replace the feta with Quartirolo cheese.

Chocolate fondue recipe with brownies and fresh fruit


For a snack to share or for a doubly delicious dessert, prepare this Chocolate Fondue and these Browniesboth based on dark chocolate, but with different percentages of cocoa.

To make the fondue we used 55% dark chocolate melted on the stove with milk, cream, sugar and butter. To prepare the brownies we opted for 75% dark chocolate mixed with butter, eggs, flour, sugar, vanilla until obtaining a dough that we cooked in the oven. We then served the preparations with fresh fruit like strawberries and pineapple.
