How to make simple white lasagna (and not only)


A white lasagna? It can be done starting from the traditional recipe of lasagna Bolognese, but without tomato, or using white meat, fish or vegetables

You say lasagna and immediately think of Sunday lunch. Lasagna is a dish that makes a lot of home, which accompanies family gatherings around the table, the symbol of Italian cuisine made of simplicity, taste and tradition. And, speaking of the latter, if it is true that the lasagna par excellence is seasoned with Bolognese sauce based on meat and tomato, it is also true that the versatility of the puff pastry makes it possible to venture into different variations of the classic lasagna. Simple white lasagna

There is not a single white lasagna. The easiest way to get it is to use the same ingredients as the lasagna Bolognese, but by eliminating the tomato. We will therefore use the sheets of fresh pasta, the bechamel, the parmesan and the ground beef and pork with which, however, you will make a white meat sauce. Like? Chop celery, carrots and onion and cook them in a pan with oil and butter. Once the sauté is ready, add the minced meat and, when it is browned, add some white wine and let it evaporate. Add some milk (about half a glass for 500 g of ground coffee), salt, pepper, lower the heat and cook for 45 minutes. Once the sauce is ready, proceed with the construction of the lasagna with a layer of pasta, one of bechamel, one of meat and one of grated Parmesan. The lasagna will then be cooked in the oven at 200 degrees for 40 minutes.

White meat lasagna

To make a white lasagna you can also vary from the traditional recipe and use other types of meats. Capon, duck, calf, rabbit are the ones with which you can get a white meat sauce for our tomato-free lasagna.
