Clean the asparagus removing the woody part of the stems and cutting them into pieces. Cook them in boiling salted water for 5-7 minutes, until they are soft but still crunchy. Toast the almonds in a pan over medium heat for about 5 minutes, browning them. Chop them coarsely.
