Grape bread pudding with rosemary and orange marmalade


1) In a saucepan warm the milk with the sprigs of rosemary up to the boiling point. Switch off, let the milk cool and strain it. Cut sliced ​​grape bread about 1/2 cm thick, butter them and spread half of it with the jam. Overlap the stuffed slices with the remaining ones to form many sandwiches and arrange them in a greased 18×22 cm pan.
2) Break eggs in a bowl, add 100 g of sugar, jumbled up with a whisk and add the flavored milk, cream and salt.
3) Pour the mixture over the prepared bread sandwiches and let it rest for 30 minutes. Sprinkle the surface with the remaining sugar and cook the pudding in a preheated oven at 160 ° for 40 minutes. Serve it lukewarm.

To make the chocolate pudding cake, you will need: 150 g of chocolate pudding, 3 eggs, 100 g of sugar, 80 g of butter, 150 g of flour 0, 50 g of cornstarch (cornstarch), 1 sachet baking powder for cakes and grated chocolate to taste.

The procedure

First, you need to prepare the chocolate pudding (you can find the recipe here but to speed up the recipe you can use a preparation for puddings) and then let it cool. Now whisk the eggs in a bowl with an electric whisk, obtaining a frothy and smooth mixture. Now sift the flour, adding starch and yeast. In a saucepan melt the butter in a bain-marie, then in a bowl add the mix of flour, starch and yeast to the butter and eggs, continuing to beat with the whips.
Turn the oven on to 180 °, while adding the pudding to the mixture obtained, incorporating it slowly, with movements from bottom to top. Take a greased and floured mold, turn the dough over and bake for at least 40 minutes. Remove from the oven, grate the surface of the chocolate bar and serve.
