The most creative recipe

By 31 December 2020, the editorial staff of La Cucina Italiana will choose the most creative post or the one with the most original or delicious recipe. But it doesn't end here …

The author will be invited to perform his recipe in the kitchens of Rana pasta factory in Verona, with a photographer who will document the preparation: the dish and the cook will thus become the protagonists of an advertorial article in the February 2021 issue of La Cucina Italiana.

This year, however – we know it well – is a bit different than usual, and projects often have to adapt to the limitations caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. If it is not possible to shoot in Giovanni Rana's headquarters, the editorial staff of La Cucina Italiana will interpret the best recipe, and an interview with the author and his photo will be included in the dedicated advertorial.

Don't forget that sweet ravioli have a big heart

Before moving on to the recipes, we remind you that the Sweet Ravioli with Chocolate Rana are not only tasty to eat, but they are good for you. In other words, they are good inside for their unexpected and greedy taste, and they are good on the outside because they support those most in need through a solidarity project. In fact, for each package purchased of Sweet Ravioli with Chocolate, Pastificio Rana will donate two fresh products to Food Bank, which will distribute them to the charitable structures present throughout the Italian territory, to bring a moment of joy and goodness to the table of the most difficult people.

Now let's get to the practice: here's what we have prepared for you!

Some ideas and technical advice on cooking will be useful before making your dessert later. Start with this, easy easy, proposed by the editorial staff of La Cucina Italiana.

Our recipe: Sweet ravioli skewers with chocolate, caramelized pineapple and dark chocolate

Ingredients

1 pack of sweet Ravioli with Giovani Rana chocolate
200 g pineapple, cut into cubes (you can also find it already cut in the supermarket)
120 g melted chocolate
sugar

Duration: 30 min
Level: Easy
Servings: 4 people

Preparation

Start with the sauce. Slowly melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave. A recommendation: don't let it get too hot, to avoid burning it.

Put 2 tablespoons of sugar in a pan over very low heat. When it begins to melt and brown, add the pineapple pieces for about 1 minute to caramelize them.

Fry the ravioli in plenty of peanut oil at 180 ° C for 1 minute, until the surface is crisp. Drain them on kitchen paper to remove excess oil.

On a wooden stick alternate 2 ravioli and 3 pieces of caramelized pineapple.
Serve them still hot with a drop of melted chocolate. If chocolate is your passion, you can also abound to taste.
