There Budwig cream it is a recipe invented by Dr. Johanna Budwig as part of a natural diet designed by Dr. Kousmine to prevent and combat certain diseases.
It is a kind of Porridge which, however does not provide cooking and it's a really complete and very healthy solution for one Breakfast rich in nutrients and energy.
Budwig cream is a complete meal from a nutritional point of view because it is prepared with one combination of ingredients which together can provide our body with everything it needs, especially in the morning.

Get a millstone

It is essential for the preparation of this recipe.
You can use one grinder or even a mincer with very sharp blades.
The important thing is that the mix of whole grains and oilseeds is very uniform to mix with the fruit and yogurt cream.
They should not feel small pieces under their teeth.
Some people to speed up prepare the creamy part first with yogurt, fruit and lemon juice and use an immersion blender. Then add the dry ingredients and the silt oil and continue to blend in the same container.

Recipe of the Budwig cream

We suggest grinding seeds and cereals separately.
So, first they have to be ground 2 teaspoons of mixed seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds), 2 teaspoons of linseed oil is 1 teaspoon of raw wholegrain cereals, like barley or oats for example. Spelled and rice are not recommended.
Separately blend the pulp of a banana or another seasonal fruit with two tablespoons of yogurt or ricotta and some lemon juice.
Join the two compounds and the cream is ready. You can serve it with fresh fruit and dried fruit grains.
Budwig cream it must be consumed at the moment because keeping it in the fridge loses its properties.
All ingredients must be fresh and seasonal.

Vegan variant

If you follow a food queue without food of animal origin you can replace the yogurt with a similar plant-based product and the procedure remains the same.
Vegetable milk is not good because it is too liquid. It serves a creamy ingredient.

Seasonal fruit

We have suggested the banana pulp as an ingredient to add to the cream both because it is sweet and so you can avoid adding the honey, both because it is very soft and creamy.
However, you can use other fruits depending on the season, provided they are fresh. We always suggest something sugary and therefore in autumn they are excellent persimmons and berries, in winter pears and apples, in spring medlars and strawberries And in the summer plums, peaches and apricots.
