The answer is yes. The sales activities of foodstuffs like supermarkets, together with others specified below, will in fact remain open. But let's see in detail what has been decided by the extraordinary measures that will be implemented from 12 to 25 March.

Coronavirus: which activities will be closed?

Retail businesses are suspended, except for the sale of food and basic necessities identified in Annex 1 (below), both in the context of neighborhood businesses, and in the medium and large-scale distribution, also included in shopping centers, provided that access to the aforementioned activities is allowed. They're closedregardless of the type of activity performed, the markets, with the exception of activities aimed at selling food only. Newsagents, tobacconists, pharmacies and parapharmacies remain open. In any case, the interpersonal safety distance of one meter must be guaranteed.
