Only 3 ingredients for a very quick Halloween dessert, ready in 12 minutes: just the cooking time in the oven. Puff pastry to shape the hands, strawberry or raspberry jam for a blood red effect and 5 blanched almonds to make everything look as authentic as possible.

Just cut it out of the ready puff pastry roll silhouette of a hand, fill it with plenty of jam (but only inside!) and close it with another coat of dough. The dried fruit to form the nails and straight into the oven to become the queen of a monstrous party!

For a wow effect, the advice is to brush the hand of puff pastry with egg yolk.

In just 12 minutes you will get an original and fun Halloween dessert, not only to look at but also to taste.

Draw the shape of the hand on the puff pastry twice. Fill one of the two hands with the jam, close with the other half and brush with the beaten egg yolk. On the ends of the fingers place the almonds that simulate nails. Bake at 200°C in a fan oven for 12 minutes.

With a fragrant and delicate scent, high and soft in appearance, the plum cake it is the dessert suitable for all hours and perfect all year round. Its basic recipe lends itself to different delicious variations according to the seasons and tastes. Of British origin (literally "plum cake"), the plum cake is the easily recognizable leavened cake due to its parallelepiped shape given by the use of classic box molds. Sweet morning cuddle to accompany breakfast, served already sliced ​​for afternoon tea, elegant dessert at the end of the meal completed with a cream or sauce, the plumcake conquers the taste and sight of young and old.

The award-winning Pastry Chef Franco Aliberti proposes a lively version of the recipe with his "Plumcake with surprise". Here is the easy and fun recipe to make at home… just like a chef!

Plumcake with surprise

Ingrediants:
2 eggs
3 pears Conference
105 gr flour 00
90 gr sugar
75 gr yogurt
45 gr oil
15 gr cocoa
7 gr baking powder
25 gr milk

Method:

Wash the pears, place them in a pot and cover with cold water.

Cook for 15 minutes, drain and let cool.

Mix the eggs with the sugar using a whisk (they do not need to be whipped).

Add the oil, milk and yogurt.

Mix well, then add the flour, baking powder and cocoa powder sifted together.

Stir until you get a homogeneous mixture.

Pour the mixture into a 20 cm long loaf pan.

Place the cooked pears in the center after having deprived them of the rounded part.

Bake at 180 degrees for 35 minutes.

Let it cool before unmolding.
