If you use round zucchini, remove the two ends and then cut into slices.

But you can also prepare it as a delicious side dish, with the addition of aromatic herbs or stringy cheeses, for a more substantial and complete dish.

Prepare the zucchini in the oven!

To cook baked zucchini all the qualities are good: white, green, long, round or trumpet. However, the size of the courgettes is essential. Better to choose those smaller and younger, because they have less seeds in the pulp and are sweeter: the more time passes the more this vegetable acquires a bitter taste.
