potato pies unique and with sliced potatoes, a bit like the potatoes parmigianain short… The potato pie that I am sharing with you today, however, is made along the lines of the classic sweet ones. You know the classic cake with a soft heart? Here you are. If you were thinking of making it in a savory version what would you use? I imagined a potato shell with a smoked salmon centre, adding just a touch of brie for creaminess… And here I am, offering you the fantastic result!
First of all, wash the potatoes, boil them for about 25 minutes and, as soon as they are soft under the tines of a fork, drain and peel them.
Mash them with a potato masher while they are still hot, then add salt, pepper and egg and mix
Grease and sprinkle the molds with breadcrumbs, then put some potatoes in them and cover the bottom and edges with a 1-2 cm layer, leaving the center empty.
Place a piece of salmon in the center, a chunk of cheese and then another piece of salmon, close with another potato mixture and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
Drizzle with a drizzle of oil and cook for 15-20 minutes in a preheated fan oven at 180°C, then leave to cool slightly before turning out.
The potato pie is ready, all you have to do is serve it.
