An induction cooktop or an extractor hood?

NikolaTesla Switch by Elica is both together, a new solution that breaks conventions in the kitchen

Sometimes you just have to look at things from another perspective to see them differently. And it is from this approach that, often, are born great innovations. It is a demonstration NikolaTesla Switch, the last induction induction plan of Propeller, global leader in the production of hoods with 50 years of experience in air treatment, which literally overturns the point of view of the kitchen. And it revolutionizes the daily cooking experience.

Induction and suction in a single plane

In a single product, designed by Fabrizio Crisà, they are reunited induction and suction cooking, technology and design, efficient performance and attention to detail. The latest generation induction hob is presented as a large ceramic glass surface with four cooking zones and a double bridge function that allows two adjacent zones of work in a combined manner not to give up the uniformity of cooking of the food even in case of use of large pots.

Revolutionary reversals

In the middle of the floor, a ring with cast iron effect and a circle in glass, completely flush, they hide the suction system. Rotating this circular element activates the aspiration of NikolaTesla Switch which, through this innovative flap, exerts a total air control. The system capture fumes and odors with performance five times higher than a climb uptake, it is silent and is equipped with energy efficiency of class A +. Thanks to the use of sensors that recognize the air quality, NikolaTesla Switch is able, in fact, to adjust automatically the suction speed optimizing consumption.

Total cleaning in black or white

Clean in terms of aesthetics thanks to a user-friendly interface invisible in stand-by mode, the piano makes it easy even cleaning after use because all the elements have been designed in fact to top wire. You can choose from two versions: ceramic glass black combined with details in cast iron or ceramic glass White combined with polished steel. The central flap allows 360 degree rotation with double aesthetic finish, on one side glass and on the other cast iron or steel depending on the chosen version. Finally, the product is expected both in filtering version that suction.
