Torta Paradiso, the easy and soft recipe


separate the egg yolks from the egg whites of 5 eggs and beat them with 300 g of sugar; add 250 g of wheat starch, 1 glass of peanut oil, the grated zest of 1 lemon and 2 tablespoons of flour.
Whip the egg whites until stiff with a pinch of salt, then gently incorporate them into the mixture with a movement from the bottom upwards. Also mix 1 sachet of sieved yeast.
Grease and flour a high-sided baking pan and pour the dough; bake at 180 ° C for 45 minutes.
Switch off the oven and leave the cake in for 5 minutes, then take it out of the oven and let it cool. At the end sprinkle with icing sugar by sieving it through a fine strainer.
