For the eleventh season of the cooking show, the community of Italian video game fans transported the atmospheres of the program to the virtual island of the life simulator
MasterChef Italia comes to life on Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Nintendo's record-breaking video game. On the occasion of the start of the eleventh season of the famous cooking show, which kicked off last December 16 and is broadcast every Thursday at 9.15pm on Sky and streaming on Now, the very active community of Italian videogame fans delivered the atmospheres of the program on the virtual island of the life simulator.
The scenario of the program was created by one of the largest communities in Italy, Animal Crossing Life, and plays the most significant elements of the Sky show produced by Endemol Shine Italy: the legendary Masterclass, the counters, the tools and the ingredients available to the competitors, and again the outdoor stations, to welcome the challenges between the aspiring Italian chefs, who, gradually, they will challenge themselves in increasingly complex tests, from Live Cooking, to Skill Tests, to the Final Challenge.
The Invention test dedicated to MasterChef will soon be open to Italian crossers with a dedicated dream code. There will also be available to fans of the show a set of patterns which will allow to recreate the iconic kitchens of MasterChef Italia, of which this year the three judges are, as in the last edition, Antonino Cannavacciuolo, Bruno Barbieri and Giorgio Locatelli.
With the free update 2.0, the possibility of using ingredients such as tomatoes, wheat, potatoes and sugar cane to prepare dishes (or, who knows, even the "mappazzoni", as Bruno Barbieri calls them), was introduced, and through the possibilities from interior customization of the Happy Home Paradise additional content you can create partitions, counters, new lighting.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons has already embraced, in the past, initiatives and events of different types, thanks to the efforts of the community: from sporting events, such as Euro 2020 and the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, to social occasions, such as Milan Fashion Week.
