Among the most popular types of cabbage, there is certainly that steamed, which allows it to be brought to the table in about 20 minutes, keeping all its nutritional properties intact.

Cabbage: tasty rolls

The cabbage leaves are perfect for making creative rolls. Such as? After having washed them well, it is necessary to blanch the cabbage leaves for about 5 minutes in boiling salted water. Drain them and immerse them in a bowl of cold water: in this way their color will remain more intense. Finally, dry them on a cloth.
At this point all that remains is to stuff them with the chosen filling, close them in rolls and secure them with string or a toothpick. Depending on the recipe chosen, proceed with steaming, pan-frying or baking. Try the classic recipe plus our light variant.
