To accompany breakfast or a meal, they can also be a simple one snack-hungry snacks, but also the base for finger food gluttons perfect for your aperitifs.

The recipe for whole-wheat crackers

The first are whole grain crackers. To prepare them mix 250 g of whole wheat flour, 80 ml of water, 30 g of extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of salt. Once the dough is ready, roll it out with a rolling pin so that it becomes thin and cut it into as many rectangles as the classic crackers.
Before putting them in the oven, season them with a little salt and brush them with a little oil. Pour them with a fork and cook them at 200 ° for about 10 minutes. You can of course cut them as you prefer, even by choosing more particular shapes and you can enrich them with chopped mixed aromatic herbs such as thyme, oregano and rosemary or with spices like curry, paprika or turmeric.

The recipe for seed crackers

Exists an even simpler way to prepare crackers, even if the ingredients are more. We are talking about the super healthy crackers made of only seeds and water. They are great to eat natural and I'm perfect for breakfast served with a veil of jam to taste. Jumbled up 80 g of sunflower seeds, with 80 g of pumpkin seeds, 40 g of poppy seeds, 40 g of sesame seeds, 40 g of flax seeds, 40 g of chia seeds, a pinch of salt and 240 ml of water. Let the mixture rest so that the chia seeds give off their most gelatinous part and then spread everything on a fairly large baking sheet lined with parchment paper, level the surface well and bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Then cut out the crackers and cook them for another 30 minutes.
