From Vinitaly 2024, an event to remember. «Being part of the new generation of Valpolicella it is certainly a commitment for me and my brothers, but also a stimulating challenge that allows us every day to experiment with alternative solutions to guarantee our customers, who have known and chosen our wines for years, to continue to taste a unique product that maintains the same precious characteristics as always.” Francesco Allegrini, president and CEO of Allegrini, enthusiastically talks about his vision for the historic company, founded in 1854 in Fumane, in the Classic Valpolicella region. After the recent corporate reorganization, with the acquisition of the majority of the shares by the brothers Francesco, Matteo and Giovannisons of Franco, who, together with their cousin SilviaWalter’s daughter, currently hold control of the company, at Vinitaly 2024 the new “brand architecture”. Allegrini Wines is the leading company that incorporates all the activities of the Allegrini family in the wine sector: the historic Valpolicella winery, the distribution company Allegrini Wine Distribution (with the Corte Giara brand and other Italian and foreign wines) and the new Tenuta production center Merigo.

Dinner at Maffei with Da Vittorio’s dishes

The recent corporate renewal was celebrated the other evening with a dinner event at Maffei restaurant in Veronawith the catering of the three-starred restaurant From Vittorio. In the historic building in the center of Verona, on the remains of the Capitoline Hill from the Roman era, a path has been designed through the rooms to combine the art of the vineyard and cellar with the art of cooking.
