Put in a bowl flour, sugar, salt, yeast, oil and water and knead until a homogeneous dough is obtained, brush with oil and leave to rest at room temperature for 20-30 minutes.

Once the rest time has passed, divide the dough into 4 equal parts.

Divide each piece in half, stretch each half to form a string, weave them together and then close them in a circle, sealing the ends between them, to form the donuts.

Proceed in the same way with the other 3 pieces of dough, in order to find yourself with 4 donuts.
Dissolve the honey in the water, then dip the donuts completely, one at a time, then pass them in the sesame seeds,

Once completely covered with sesame, place the donuts on the baking tray lined with parchment paper, slightly spaced apart.
Bake for about 20 minutes (or until golden brown) at 200 ° C, in a preheated convection oven.

The simits are ready, let them cool slightly before eating.
