Summer, time for cold, tasty, fresh and practical dishes. Possibly without even gravitating into the stove area. So what is better than fruit combined with cold cuts? Already what fruit and what cold cuts? Mica can be approached at random. In general, the rule is that a succulent salami should be accompanied by an astringent fruit and, in general, salted sausages invoke a rather sweet fruit.
The Ham and melon it is perhaps the most popular among marriages of this type, so much so that it has also become a bit stewed, let's face it all. But in reality for the connoisseurs of the papillae and winning alchemies, fruit and vegetable combinations can be very varied. A question of aesthetic harmony, too, but also of coupled between tastes that fit together and enhance each other.
For example, what about a Parma ham combined with figs or grapes? Of course we will have to wait for the season to advance and the first signs of autumn to arrive, but the couple could even be sexier than the highly popular and inflated melon. The raw also fits perfectly with plums and blueberries: seeing is believing. Also peaches, apples, papaya and mango are recommended by experts, who point out that in the case of these pairs there is a mutual exaltation of flavors.
If speck finds its half of the apple precisely in the apple, possibly conceivable even in a satisfying pizza, the salami can range from peaches, apples, kiwi and, ça va sans dire, figs. And we come to the mortadella, apparently pop, but more difficult than other meats to decline. According to the palates, the Emilian salami, with a sweet taste, goes hand in hand with the pears, also accompanied, as the farmer of the proverb (who has come to know) suggests, rigorously also from a beautiful piece of cheese.
Finally the bresaola, the pride of the Valtellina, can venture a daring balancing act and marry with the apricots, in addition to the more obvious exotic fruits or dried figs. And the cooked or even better the Prague ham, with an intense and aromatic flavor it is ideal to taste with a slice ofpineapple or even with grapefruit that with their acidic notes play down the intensity of the salami. If, on the other hand, you want to dare and amaze, you can always try a delicious dish with sweet pancetta and strawberries.
