How to make homemade ice cream cake – Italian Cuisine

For it zuccotto you need or a simple one glass salad bowl round or a special mold always to be lined with film.
If you want to use other types of molds with very particular shapes, always remember to line them otherwise wet the base well with warm water before unmolding them.

How to make an ice cream cake

Let's start from the base that as in any self-respecting cake can not miss.
For a classic base you can use a simple one sponge cake disc thin and slightly wet, or gods Savoiardi type biscuits.
If you love the basic cheesecake instead mince some shortbread biscuits with melted butter and press the base well on the bottom of the mold.
If you want something really tasty, make a base with the brownies recipe.
You can then use the pure ice cream or mix it with whipped cream to make it softer and more like a semifreddo.
If you want to achieve multiple layers remember to put the cake in the fridge every time a different taste is added. In this way the starti will remain distinct and the cake will be more beautiful to serve and slice.
Between one layer and another, you can also add sponge cake or dried fruit grains or biscuits or thin chocolate plates which will become crispy when cold.
Inside the ice cream you can crumble some meringues or whisk the fruit pulp or add pieces of biscuit or cake.
In short, the funny thing about this dessert is that everyone can turn it into what they want.

You are spoiled for choice this season because summer fruit is the most colorful, beautiful and sweet of the year. If you want a neutral base, use a taste like vanilla or fiordilatte or cream and decorated with melon slices or with peaches and apricots. Instead, avoid too water-curly fruits such as watermelon for example.
For a very scenic effect add some berries in the final decoration or in the frosted grapes.
