Barbecue with grilled desserts


Simple, fast and unusual: discover desserts without turning on the oven, but using charcoal

The classic dessert after a nice barbecue is the fruit salad, ice cream or fruit salad with ice cream. But since the embers are still hot, why not exploit them to the end and prepare them delicious grilled desserts? The result will amaze you.

All the fruits on the barbecue

To change a bit the usual fruit salad, try to make some skewers: skewered of the fruit to taste on metal or wooden toothpicks. Then prepare one sauce with two tablespoons of honey, a teaspoon of juice lemon, cinnamon and vanilla in powder. Brush the skewers with this sauce and grill them on each side.
Also the watermelon well suited to grilling: cut into triangles four to five centimeters high and cook them for five minutes on each side. Serve the watermelon with yogurt flavored with honey, cinnamon and mint and a mixture of pistachios.
The peaches half open, pitted, passed in brown sugar and then grilled with rosemary are delicious combined with mascarpone with honey. The same thing can also be done with the grapefruit. However, use cinnamon instead of rosemary.
Among the grilled desserts, pineapple is a great classic. Marinate pineapple slices with rum and brown sugar for at least 15 minutes and then grill them, just one or two minutes per side. Serve thepineapple su ricotta creamed with honey and mint and finish with some coconut flakes.

Grilled desserts: never without chocolate

Desserts like plumcake, sponge cake or brioche bread they can be cut into slices and grilled. It will be enough then to accompany them with ice cream, grilled fruit in turn (pineapples, peaches and apricots work particularly well), yogurt or mascarpone or berries for last-minute grilled desserts.
