Dear Pam, My feelings are mixed about summer ending too.
I never really participated with summer this year. It came and went much too quickly.
Your round-up is simply beautiful. I would love to enjoy everything you displayed.
Have a wonderful evening and blessings dear. Catherine xo

Back from our Adventures in Idaho

by Pam on January 7, 2013

Boise, Idaho:

We just got back from a fun filled trip to Idaho. We spent time with some of our family in Boise and celebrated Christmas together with them. We had a mellow week of watching movies, eating excellent meals cooked on my brother in law’s new Traeger grill, and spending time laughing and hanging out together. It was nice to enjoy the holiday with my parents and my sister and her family.

Cheers!

I love that my sister shares!

My husband and I were thrilled to spend time with two of our best friends

I love these rascals!

McCall, Idaho:

We left Boise and headed to my husband’s hometown where we met up with our good friends from Portland. We were so thankful to be staying at my mother in law’s amazing home. The kids enjoyed playing out in the snow, sledding, and skiing. The weather was beautiful, sunny, and cold. We had a fun filled and relaxing time together – it was so nice to show our friends how beautiful Idaho is!

It’s hard to leave such a beautiful place!

It was a whirlwind trip and we had such a wonderful time but it’s also really nice to be home!  I hope you all had a great holiday season! I’ll be back to cooking tomorrow.
