Halloween gingerbread house – Italian Cuisine

In a bowl, combine the flour with spices, salt and baking soda.

Separately, work the eggs with molasses, sugar and butter, then also incorporate the flour mixture.
Wrap the dough with cling film and let it rest in the fridge for 1 hour.

Take back the pastry, roll it out on the floured surface in a 4-5 mm thick sheet, then cut out the 6 pieces of the house.
Prepare the decorations with the leftover pastry, then arrange everything on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper (I used 2 different baking sheets) and bake for about 15 minutes at 180 ° C, in a pre-heated ventilated oven, then let it cool.

Once the biscuits are completely cold, prepare the royal icing by working the egg white with the sugar until the mixture is smooth and fairly thick.
Divide the icing into various bowls to prepare it in different colors with the food coloring you have chosen (I used black, orange, purple and green).

Start decorating the pieces of the house first, so that they have time to dry before assembling them.

Prepare a tray or serving plate on which you will place the house and start assembling the house, using the glaze as glue.
Before mounting the roof, wait for the walls to be solid.
Finally, dedicate yourself to the decoration of the additional elements.

Once the frosting of each individual element is perfectly dry, your Halloween gingerbread house will be ready.

Halloween cake pops – Italian Cuisine

Finely crumble the sponge cake and add the Nutella first (I used the white one because it was to be consumed, but the normal one is fine too) and then the ricotta.

Shape into balls about the size of a walnut, arrange them on a tray lined with parchment paper and let them rest in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
Then take them back, dip the sticks in the melted white chocolate and skewer the balls.

Leave to rest in the freezer for 10-15 minutes, then take the balls back and dip them in melted chocolate: use white chocolate if you want to simulate mummies or ghosts, white chocolate with orange coloring to simulate pumpkins (but you can also try with green coloring to simulate zombies, for example), dark chocolate for everything else.
Apply sprinkles, sprinkles and sugar decorations to taste, then leave for at least 1-2 hours in the fridge to solidify.

Once the chocolate is completely solidified, the Halloween cake pops are ready.

The recipe for fluffy pumpkin pie

Ingredients

To make the pumpkin pie you will need: 300 g of flour, 170 g of sugar, 350 g of pumpkin, 50 g of corn starch, 3 eggs, 1 knob of butter (about 40 g), 1 sachet of baking powder , powdered sugar.

Method

Pumpkin pie, as mentioned, is really very simple to prepare. The first thing to do is to cut the pumpkin pulp into very small cubes and cook it in a pan with a knob of butter for about 10-15 minutes. When it is cooked, it must be finely chopped with a blender and set aside in a bowl.

In another container, you must then whip the eggs with the sugar until you get a homogeneous mixture, add the chopped pumpkin pulp, the flour and the corn starch, always continuing to whisk with a whisk. Only at the end add the baking powder and continue to mix until the dough becomes smooth and without lumps.

Finally, the cake should be cooked in a preheated oven at 170 ° for about 40 minutes. Check the cooking with a toothpick.
