Freedom has ended: the cycle of virtual events dedicated to the theme of freedom and the meeting between generations launched by Vanity Fair in collaboration with United Colors of Benetton

FREEDOM, a cycle of four virtual events launched by Vanity Fair in collaboration with United Colors of Benetton dedicated to the theme of freedom and the meeting between generations, which have entered the consolidated Vanity Stage format, has ended.

Through the world of Fashion, Sport, Cinema and Music, special guests, an expression of talent and excellence, spoke with Vanity Fair in unique interviews.

The first Fashion appointment: It’s not a new normal, it’s a new freedom saw French artist Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, artistic director of United Colors of Benetton, and Austrian designer Arthur Arbesser in an interview. With them we explored the many facets of freedom in a fashion key: creative freedom, inspiration, boundaries, gender and movement, touching on themes such as ecology, cultural appropriation, inclusion, the choices of gen Z and the digital revolution.

Sport, passion and goals: the freedom that comes from the discipline was the focus of the second meeting. Former Olympic champion and former captain of the Italian team Filippo Magnini chatted with 18-year-old Larissa Iapichino, a great promise of Italian athletics, to discover their passion and their goals, those already cut and those still to be achieved.

The third Vanity Stage FREEDOM, entitled A job called freedom, was dedicated to cinema: the young actress Denise Tantucci, 23, confronted Anna Foglietta, 41, one of the most popular faces of Italian cinema. We talked with them about freedom of expression, talent and imagination but also about career, goals and new goals.

The fourth and final appointment, Freedom to be different: how to conquer an artist identity, saw the singer-songwriter Francesco Gabbani, 38, in dialogue with the young singer-songwriter Federica Carta, 21, to talk about freedom of expression, music and projects.
