Sesame Garlic Wilted Spinach

Sesame Garlic Wilted Spinach

by Pam on January 14, 2014

‘This was a quick and healthy side dish to go with the Asian meal I was serving for dinner. My kids tolerated this spinach only because they drowned it in seasoned vinegar – whatever works! My husband and I both loved the sesame flavor and I liked the slivers of garlic. You can’t beat a fast and easy side dish.

Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the garlic and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Add the soy sauce and spinach then cook, stirring occasionally, until the spinach is nearly wilted. Remove from the heat then drizzle with the seasoned vinegar, to taste then sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired. Serve immediately.
