Every year, in this period, the vegan people in the United States quiver for the previews of new vegan products which will be launched on the market in the following months and which will influence global trends in the sector, reaching supermarket shelves but also restaurant kitchens. Well, among thousands of innovative and revolutionary cruelty free products presented during the edition 2019, let's see some of the most interesting, to know and keep an eye on.

The new frontiers of the healthy "junk food"

Often when we talk about nutrition and vegan lifestyle these are associated with wellness, organic products and a healthy and balanced diet. In reality, a large portion of the global cruelty free market is occupied by snacks and chips, 100% vegetable products but designed precisely in a junk food key. Among the new entries of 2019 we find for example the vegan bacon chips, an increasingly popular food. These chips from Outstanding Foods, with the appropriate name "Pig Out", will be available in cheddar, original, Kansas City BBQ and chipotle flavors. Also interesting vegan alternatives to Pringles of Vegan Rob, which in addition to being based on vegetables have an addition of probiotics. The right ones will be chosen to accompany the snacks vegan sauces, including the almond-flavored New Barn’s with habanero, lemon and beetroot flavors, and the new soy sour cream from the Follow Your Heart.

More and more milk and dairy products … in a vegan version

Plant-based cheese and beverages are becoming increasingly popular in the vegan food scene and in restaurant kitchens; size grows, basic ingredients change, and companies challenge each other to launch increasingly innovative and resembling products to their non-vegan equivalents. In fact, there are many new and delicious proposals awaiting us. Among the vegan cheeses, for example, is coming a new vegetable brie with cashews della Wildbrine, which you can choose from the classic flavor, beetroot or shitake mushrooms, and the almond spreadable cheese of Kite Hill. On the front of the vegan alternative to milk this year too the trend in oat milk seems to be confirmed, which Oatly! 's Oat-Milk now offers also in low fat and chocolate versions. We should instead expect more and more choice and more and more tastes in terms of vegan yogurt; this year we will be able to taste those made with yogurt with oatmeal of So Delicious, with strawberry rhubarb, spiced pear and fig, or those of the new Daiya Duets series accompanied by chocolate and coconut, lime crumble, salted caramel or cranberries. We close in sweetness with almond milk ice cream from New Barn but also the luscious light cremini of Revele with chocolate and strawberry.

New main courses without animal derivatives

Also this year new plant foods alternative to meat could not be missing. We present, then, the new vegan carpaccio produced in Italy but packaged in the USA of Good & Green, the much announced Beyond Beef, or the beef of the same company of the famous Burger Impossible always signed Beyond, and i summer flavors of the vegan version of Upton's dried meat jackfruit, which caused so much talk in 2018.
