The fruit ice-cream to be made at home without milk


To have a snack every day when it's sunny outside. The ingredients? Strawberries, dried fruit, bananas and almond milk

You know you can prepare one creamy popsicle extraordinary without the milk?
We suggest you a very easy recipe to make with few ingredientsperfect in this season.
As fruit we chose the strawberries, but for the summer you can also use apricots, peaches, plums and figs.
Instead of cow's milk we will use some almond milk, natural or even slightly sweetened because children like it more, and to obtain a soft texture, more similar to that of an ice cream than that of an ice lolly, we will use some peanut or almond butter homemade.

The recipe of ice-cream with strawberries

First wash carefully a strawberry basket from about 400 gr (about 15 strawberries) and after drying them, remove them from the stalk.
Blend them with del lemon juice and if you want add some sugar cane and some mint leaf.
Prepare the peanut or almond butter simply chopping the dried fruit for a long time previously toasted in a pan for one minute.
You will get a very thick cream excellent for preparing ice cream, but also for spreading on bread for breakfast.
Blend 5 tablespoons of peanut or almond butter with 400 ml of almond milk and two bananas and then fill the ice lolly molds.
Put the strawberries on the bottom, then add the cream of bananas and dried fruit.
Let it cool down in the freezer for three to four hours about.

If you don't like the stick

With the same ingredients you can prepare an excellent ice cream to be served in cups or cones.
You simply cut the bananas and strawberries and leave them in the freezer for a few hours.
Once frozen, blend them and mix them with peanut or almond butter and a little almond milk.
You can also add gods in the blender fleshy and sweet dates to make the consistency even creamier and more canned thick coconut milk instead of almond milk. Keep the ice cream in the freezer and blend it again before serving or consume it immediately.

Yoghurt variant

Don't you love dried fruit?
No problem: simply blend the strawberries with lemon juice and alternate them in the molds with whole Greek yogurt mixed with honey.
Always add blended bananas if you want a creamy consistency.
And if you want to make children happy, once you have removed the stick from the freezer, cover it with melted dark chocolate and then let it cool again in the freezer.
