The pumpkin bread recipe

Ingredients

To make the pumpkin bread at home, you need to get the following ingredients (doses for about 6 people): 200 grams of 00 flour, 200 grams of sugar, 250 grams of pumpkin pulp, 2 whole eggs, 110 grams of butter, 40 grams of water, 2 teaspoons of honey, spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger), salt and bicarbonate to taste.

Method

First, cook the pumpkin pulp: wrap the pumpkin pieces in the aluminum and bake them in a preheated oven at 180 ° for 40 minutes. Once cooked, blend them in order to obtain a puree. In the meantime, stir in the dough: mix the flour, sugar and butter and knead with an electric whisk; then add the 2 eggs one at a time; finally, always working with a whisk, pumpkin puree, water, honey, spices, a pinch of salt and baking soda. You should get a creamy mixture, which you will pour into the plumcake mold, previously lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about an hour. Remove from the oven and serve in slices, still hot.
