Vietri sul mare is not the first municipality on the Amalfi Coast to adapt in advance to the legislation of theEuropean Union which foresees the elimination of disposable plastic objects by 2021. Moreover, the courtesy kit is replaced by distributors or disposable kits in recycled plastic, with the aim of starting up a local chain of production of essences, to recover the waste from lemon processing.
