A signed forest Peppa Pig. No, it's not the plot of some spin-off of the most iconic preschool cartoon of the last twenty years, but an interesting initiative ready to take the big step from the small screen to the real world: the most famous pig in the world of animation has indeed joined forces with Treedom, the portal that allows you to plant trees and follow them online in their development. Objective: to create many small ones Peppa Pig Forest, and disseminate precious fruit trees around the world.

The initiative, which aims to directly finance agricultural communities, while promoting the planet's biodiversity, at least for this first phase, reaches 250 trees, between avocado, cocoa, coffee, lemon and papaya, to be planted in Kenya, Cameroon, Madagascar and Guatemala. To contribute personally to the Peppa forest, simply go to the cartoon Facebook page, OfficialPeppaPigItaly, and leave a I like it to the post dedicated to the #PeppaPigForest campaign: for every 100 likes collected between now and the end of August, a tree will be planted. By clicking on the portal Treedom in addition, the type and destination of the various fruit trees can also be chosen, suggesting a first name for them.

The imaginary world of the little piglet and her animal friends, on the other hand, has always been somewhat attentive to the issues of environment protection. In the eighth season of the cartoon, aired in Italy since last April, several episodes related to sustainability, designed to explain to the smallest fundamental – and not simple – topics such as the importance of renewable energy, the beauty of green mobility and the whole process related to waste recycling. The Peppa Pig Forest are therefore a completely natural continuation of this mission that began on the screen: a small, but significant, step forward to safeguard life on our planet. With lots of lemons, coffee and side avocado.
