With October autumn starts to get serious. Of course, there are still the so-called october, those hot days as suddenly as August again. But they have the intensity and duration of a match: a blaze that burns away immediately, with the horizon starting to get dark already in the late afternoon and mornings with sparkling air.
Our clothes change, the branches are undressed, the colors of nature change and on our tables new fruit arrives: persimmons, chestnuts, almonds, pomegranates, apples, hazelnuts, walnuts, pears, grapes, blueberries.
We decided to use these October jewels to make great cakes.
