Coffee is not only useful for waking up in the morning or for avoiding the safe afternoon drop. With all the coffees we drink every day we can do a lot of things that we probably never take into consideration.
Now is the right time to do them!

After sipping our beautiful cup, we can reuse coffee grounds in kitchen, in garden and even as a treatment of beauty. Here are 6 easy ways to to recycle, avoid producing waste e save on the purchase of some products, all thanks to our coffee addiction.

1. To make a flower …

Coffee grounds are suitable for manure the soil, acidifying it and nourishing it with nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus, copper and magnesium. Some types of flowers in particular they prefer a more acid soil: if you want to grow roses, azaleas, camellias or rhododendrons, use coffee grounds!

2. Natural insecticide

Another useful idea? After drying the funds, you can use them for remove the ants, sprinkling them in the garden or at home, near the critical areas. The same method is also effective for removing snails.

3. Degreaser in the kitchen

Rub the bottom of the pots or of the grids encrusted with grease with coffee grounds, using a sponge. In this way you will easily remove dirt and bad smells.

4. Ally of the whole house (and not only)

Coffee grounds help us fight stubborn dirt, not just in the kitchen. You can use them to remove scale from every surface of the house, simply rubbing it with a sponge and some warm water. If you have a fireplace, you can clean it with coffee grounds still damp, which will absorb the ash and eliminate the bad smells.
Dry coffee grounds are capable of eliminating odors and perfuming different types of environments, such as the fridge, the shoe rack and even thecar. Just insert them in small well-closed mesh bags, such as those for confetti or old tights.

5. Soap eliminates odors

You cut thegarlic and you can't get rid of the bad smell from your fingers? The simple coffee ground is for you: use it to wash your hands, rubbing it between your fingers, and then rinse.

With the coffee grounds you can also prepare some homemade soap bars. The necessary ingredients are: 2 tablespoons of well dried coffee grounds, a 200 g of Marseille soap and 100 g of water. Grate the soap and add it to the coffee grounds and in half the water in a non-stick pan, placed on a very low flame. Stir constantly to prevent it from burning. When the soap has absorbed all the water and is soft, adding the rest of the water, continue stirring until it is absorbed and turn off the heat. Immediately pour the mixture into silicone molds and leave to rest for about 3 hours. Once you have reached the right consistency, gently remove the soaps and leave to rest for 1-2 days on baking paper, so that they dry.

6. More beautiful with coffee grounds
