1 chopped onion

100 g of breadcrumbs
1 egg
5 spoons of milk
plenty of salt and pepper

Oil
40 g of butter
40 g of 00 flour
150 ml of vegetable broth
150 ml of beef broth
150 ml of double cream or fresh cream
2 teaspoons of soy sauce
1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
Method
Mix the beef with the pork with your hands and mix well. Add the onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg and mix again. Add the milk and season with salt and pepper.
With the mixture, create small round balls. Put them on a plate, cover them and let them rest in the fridge for two hours (this step will help to keep the shape during cooking).
After the time, heat the oil over medium heat in a pan. When it is hot, add the meatballs and brown them until they are golden on all sides. Now put the meatballs in an ovenproof dish, cover them and put them in a hot oven (ventilated 180 ° C or 160 ° C) and cook for 30 minutes.
For the sauce, melt 40 g of butter in a pan, then add 40 g of flour and cook for two minutes. Add the 150 ml of vegetable broth and the 150 ml of meat broth, always continuing to mix.
Also add the 150 ml of cream, two teaspoons of soy sauce and 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard. Bring everything to a boil and let the sauce thicken.
When the meatballs are ready, serve them with the sauce and potatoes you prefer.
