Here's how to make broccoli strudel.

Ingredients

a roll of puff pastry or rectangular brisè
a broccoli
100 g of sweet smoked cheese
2 tablespoons of Parmesan
extra virgin olive oil
salt and pepper
a clove of garlic if you like
an egg

Method

First, wash the broccoli florets very well and blanch them for a few minutes in boiling water.
At this point you have two options: saute the broccoli in the pan for a few minutes or not.
In the first case they will certainly be tastier because they are flavored with a clove of garlic and browned with extra virgin olive oil.
If you prefer to use simply boiled broccoli, cook them in boiling water until they become soft and then mash them with a fork.
Once the broccoli is ready, let it cool and then mix it with Parmesan, chopped scamorza with a knife, salt and pepper.
Meanwhile, roll out a roll of puff pastry or brisée by placing it directly on the pan that will go into the oven.
Prick it with a fork and then fill it in the center with the broccoli.
Close the two flaps of pasta and seal the ends like a package.
Brush the surface with a beaten egg and bake at 200 ° in a static oven for 35 minutes.

Variant with sausage

Broccoli and sausage they go too well together, so you can't not try this version too.
In this case, we suggest you blanch the broccoli and then brown them in a pan with the well-shelled sausage.
If you don't like sausage, replace it with speck or bacon cubes.

Variant with vegetables

Broccoli calls chili pepper, even if in the basic recipe we have not included it among the ingredients because maybe not everyone likes it.
We assure you, however, that a pinch of spicy makes the difference.
Use small pieces of fresh chilli or pepper flavored oil if you love the strong version, or some delicate chilli powder or paprika if you prefer something light.
