Take 1/3 of the dough and add the red dye, working until a uniform color is obtained.
Spread separately the red and the neutral loaf on a well-floured surface.
Cut out medium-sized hearts from the neutral loaf, and small hearts from the colored one.
With the same molds used to make small hearts, made of hearts in the middle of white shortcrust hearts.
Arrange the middle hearts, now pierced in the center, on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then put in the center of each a red heart to fill the void.
Cook for about 12-15 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 ° C.
