First clean the pineapple and cut it into slices about 1 cm thick.
Heat a griddle or grill pan well over high heat, and in the meantime remove the central torso from the pineapple slices and sprinkle them with brown sugar.
Then cook them briefly on both sides (a couple of minutes per side will be enough), in order to caramelize the sugar.
The grilled pineapple is ready: serve it with a few leaves of fresh mint, or perhaps adding cinnamon, rum or even ice cream.
