Fast and tasty salads - Italian Cuisine

Here's how to bring to the table a tasty and complete dish in a matter of minutes, without sacrificing taste and imagination

Ordinary everyday scenes: you come home late, you are very hungry and there is nothing ready. The best solution, especially with aldo, is a nice salad to prepare in just a few moves. Here are some quick and tasty salad recipes, to combine taste and lightness.

Where to start

If you have little time available, prefer vegetables such as carrots, radishes, cucumbers, fennel, courgettes, tomatoes, celery is pepperoni, which are also good raw and much quicker to wash and cut. If you fancy a cereal salad, try the quinoa: it is cooked in 10-12 minutes for absorption (so no water to bring to boiling, pots or colander) and has a slightly "nutty" taste. The protein sources the quickest to put in the salad are eggs, the tuna or i ready-made legumes, better in glass jar than in can. If besides having little time, you also have an empty fridge, enrich the salad with dried fruit such as walnuts, almonds or hazelnuts or Grana cheese flakes: in this way you will still have a substantial dish.

Ideas for quick salads

Taking inspiration from the American kitchen, you can transform the BLT sandwich, Which stands for bacon, lettuce, tomato (ie bacon, lettuce is tomato) in a salad. While toasting bacon or bacon in the pan without adding more fat, prepare a tomato and lettuce salad. Season with oil, salt and pepper and black and if you have a few minutes left, you can also toast some bread for croutons. Two quick and light salads inspired by the Italian tradition are the classic one with orange and fennel, or the panzanella Tuscany. If you are looking for quick and light salads, prepare a salad of celery, apple is walnuts to be dressed with unsweetened whole yogurt. Or taste the one with rocket, strawberries and parmesan flakes or that of broad beans, seasoned with oil, lemon and a little feta. Finally, among the quick and easy salads we cannot forget the classic "Tuna and tomato", perhaps enriched with a few slices of avocado.
