Expiring milk: how do I use it?

The milk it is one of the foods that cannot be missing in the kitchen, especially if there are children in the house. Good to consume alone, a Breakfast or a snack, can also be a versatile ingredient for many recipes. Precisely for this reason we often tend to stock them up, regardless of the deadline. Milk soup

It is a recipe as simple as it is loved, both by adults and children. Basically it is one enriched pasta. Get 80 gr of pasta of your choice, 1 glass and a half of milk, grated Parmesan cheese, salt and extra virgin olive oil to taste. do this: boil the water and boil the pasta. Meanwhile, heat the milk in a saucepan. Add it to the pasta, making the soup a little narrow. Then add some grated Parmesan and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and serve hot.

Shrimp Omelet

L'omelette it is nothing but a slightly softer omelette, precisely because of the addition of milk to the mixture. This is based on shrimps, but you can also prepare it with vegetables. Get: 100 gr of shrimp, 4 eggs, 50 ml of milk, 1 potato, 1 bunch of fresh parsley, salt, pepper, extra virgin olive oil and grated ginger to taste. Do this: blanch the shrimp for a few minutes in lightly salted water. Drain them and let them cool. Meanwhile, in a bowl add the eggs, milk, salt, pepper and a little grated ginger. Beat until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Then, boil the potato and in the meantime finely chop the parsley. Peel the boiled potato and cut it into cubes. Now heat a pan with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and pour the mixture: when it starts to thicken, add the shrimp, the diced potato and the chopped parsley. Fold the omelette and let it cook a little more. Serve it hot.

Artist Of Milk Pork

A second dish rich in taste and easy to prepare? L'pork loin with milk. Get: 1 kg of pork loin, 1 lt of milk, 1 carrot, 1 celery stick, 1 onion, 1 glass of white wine, 1 piece of apple, salt and pepper to taste. Do this: in a saucepan, prepare a finely chopped carrot, celery and onion, adding the apple cut into pieces with the peel. Then brown the artist on each side. Meanwhile, heat the milk. Pour in the wine, add the hot milk and finish cooking. Season with salt and pepper and serve hot.

Milk rice cake

When the milk is expiring, there is nothing better than preparingand a good dessert for breakfast or snack. Ideal is the milk rice cakesoft and delicious. You need: 250 grams of rice, 2 eggs, 200 grams of sugar, 100 grams of butter, 1 liter of milk, 1 lemon, icing sugar to taste.
Do this: boil the milk in a saucepan, when it reaches 100 degrees, boil the rice. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and the grated lemon peel. Finish cooking the rice and then let it cool down. Separate the egg yolks and whip them with the rest of the sugar. You get a clear and frothy mixture, to which you will add the melted butter. Mix well and add it to the cold rice. Now whisk the egg whites and incorporate them into the mixture, with movements from top to bottom. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C, place the mixture in a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for about 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with icing sugar.

Fried milk

The fried milk it is a very simple dessert to make, which will surely also conquer your children. Get: 100 grams of sugar, 50 grams of flour, 4 cups of milk, 2 eggs, butter and icing sugar to taste. Do this: in a bowl mix sugar, flour, milk and 1 knob of butter. Then pour the dough into a saucepan and cook over low heat until it thickens. Now let it cool and cut the dough into cubes, passing them on a plate with the eggs and flour. Fry them in a pan with hot butter and then sprinkle with icing sugar.
