Cracco-Elkann, each on his own way

News of the separation of Garage Italia members is official. All the news on the rupture of Piazzale Accursio that is making Milan talk

It was November 2017 when Lapo Elkann and Carlo Cracco presented their new creature in Milan Garage Italia. A creative idea to reconvert the former Agip station in Piazzale Accursio into a well-kept venue and immediately loved and frequented by celebrities. Among the big names involved in the project, also the architect De Lucchi who signed the ambitious restructuring project.
Enthusiasm, great projects and the first sparkling results (celebrated with rigorously limited edition Ferrari rainbow). but yet something between the two didn't work. Less than a year and a half after the inauguration, Carlo Cracco leaves the company entrusting 100% of the shares to Laps To Go Holding, the Elkann company.
The official news seems to seal the rumors they long wanted the relationship of the two partners in the critical phase. There has been talk of different views on the project and the need for chef Cracco to follow his new openings (the bistro in via Victor-Hugo) with more dedication, but also of some disagreement. Moreover, the relationship between the shareholders has often been tested by the criticisms and management needs linked to a complex project like that of Garage Italia.

"This agreement allows both to continue to explore their fields of activity in accordance with the strategic lines of each, maintaining the professional and personal relationship of all time", the two have announced.
A statement that reminded us so much of the calmness of the biggest VIP separations, but that makes us presume signs of the end of the Cracco-Elkann duo.
