Bauer turns 90 between naturalness and innovation – – Italian Cuisine


Bauer, today the third market player for stock cubes, has pursued its philosophy for 90 years: keeping its strong link with tradition and the drive towards innovation, the highest quality standards and the strong naturalness. Founded in 1929 as an importer from Germany of chicken broth nuts «Brufix, Bauer – from the name of its founder – began producing its own stock cubes from totally natural ingredients starting in the 1940s. 176974

Over the years, Bauer has developed and refined a complete line of products, from Instant Nuts to Granules, from Seasonings to Helper, all made without the use of artificial flavors and chemical additives.

176965The business philosophy of the company has remained unchanged for 90 years, with a careful selection of raw materials that are processed using delicate methods that preserve its organoleptic properties, without hydrogenated fats and without added monosodium glutamate.

A precise company desire that aims to meet the nutritional needs of consumers with high quality products, excellent from an organoleptic point of view. Bauer products for nine decades have contributed to a diet with genuine flavors, without artifice and in the name of well-being. All Bauer preparations are in fact gluten free and included in the handbook of the Italian Celiac Association.

In 2019, the brand renewed the recipe of the classic Dadi range, which sees the addition of extra virgin olive oil among the ingredients; the addition of this protagonist of the Mediterranean diet contributes to further raising the quality of the products. 176980

Always recently the BIO line – only organic certified raw materials, cultivated in total absence of pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilizers – it has been enriched with an exclusive range of 4 spicy BIO Dice (curry, saffron, ginger, turmeric) and Dado BIO al Miso; these products are added to the nut and granular BIO vegetable, chicken and meat (Bauer was the first company in Italy to offer a BIO version of meat products).

The company led by Giovanna Flor (in the photo) sole administrator, has recently received the prestigious Confindustria award for the 90th birthday at the company headquarters in Spini di Gardolo (TN).

The new headquarters is LEED GOLD certified (Leed Italia NC 2009): the new is defined world standard for eco-compatible buildings and today applied in 40 countries, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) promotes entire buildings with a sustainability-oriented approach through energy and water efficiency assets, the choice of materials and the environmental quality of the site productive, expressed through multiple details.

176989Among these, Bauer wears a green roof on the roofs of the building with over 2500 square meters of natural waterproofing, which allows numerous energy advantages. On the roof there is a beautiful one vegetable garden, on which they are grown delicious herbs.

177001Employees work within a state-of-the-art office and eco friendly, a factor that affects environmental well-being: moreover, in 2016 Bauer obtained the important Family Audit certification (in the photo), for having put its employees and their families at the center, concretely supporting work-family reconciliation.
