This is the month of the gifts, but not only of those exchanging under the tree. Christmas is an opportunity for treat yourself to small things, attentions, thoughts and moments. Our agenda is full of meetings that promise to give space to the famous wishes before the holidays. We will exchange them with lifelong friends, colleagues and people who have recently entered our lives.
And each of these times, we will have taken one more step towards Christmas. Which is welcome, meeting and celebration.
We will be able to pay homage to our friends with letters, gifts and little thoughts, but if they invite us home, we must not miss a recipe cooked by us.
Which will talk about the time that we have dedicated to preparing for this meeting, ofaffection that we feel and of our commitment to nurture a feeling, a friendship. And since we want to have fun, notice the rules.
Sweet, salty and bittersweet preparations will be good as long as they are easy to carry and, in the case of dried desserts and chocolates, pack.

The vintage idea

If you want to give a vintage allure to your thinking, wrap it in a clean Christmas dishclothjust like grandma did. More elegant than a plastic bag, more engaging than a rolled foil on the pan, will put everyone in a good mood. Even the container will not necessarily be disposable: at the end of lunch or dinner you can bring it home without using much material.

The extra touch

To make your guests happy, take a letter to the delicacy. You will intersect it with the name of the recipe, dedicating it to the recipient and to the inside of the envelope insert the transcribed recipe. In this way you will truly complete the gift, giving way to a virtuous circle of exchanges of advice, recipes and traditions. Indeed, it could be the beginning of a new tradition to be repeated every year!
