«New visions: the Vanity Stage organized with OPPO scheduled for October 29th – Italian Cuisine

"Nuove visioni" is the Vanity Stage organized with Oppo scheduled for October 29th at 3.30 pm on the vanitystage.vanityfair.it platform, with protagonists Nima Benati, one of the most requested and appreciated fashion photographers, and Isabella Lazzini, chief marketing officer of OPPO Italy.

The dialogue will focus in particular on the logical evolution of the smartphone tool. Investigating one of its now central connotations: the ability to tell everyday life through streams of images and videos, thus becoming a witness and a narrator of moments. A collector of memory, a vehicle for sharing and therefore for representing oneself towards the outside.

To represent this evolution are the phones Reno6 Pro 5G and Reno6 5G from OPPO, which offer as standard a range of functions capable of capturing the moment in a professional way, adding complex but intuitive special effects and obtaining a quality rendering effortlessly. Such simplicity leads to an outcome: it amplifies the expressive language of inexperienced, newbies, wary of technology. Writing stories in images is now within everyone's reach.

The appointment is part of the cycle of "OPPO Meets" digital meetings organized by OPPO in collaboration with Vogue Italia, GQ, Vanity Fair and Wired, which investigate how technology is influencing fashion, design, personal and therefore collective culture, lifestyles, in a process of mutual contamination, in a rebound of suggestions.

Vanity Stage: Freedom ended – Italian Cuisine

Freedom has ended: the cycle of virtual events dedicated to the theme of freedom and the meeting between generations launched by Vanity Fair in collaboration with United Colors of Benetton

FREEDOM, a cycle of four virtual events launched by Vanity Fair in collaboration with United Colors of Benetton dedicated to the theme of freedom and the meeting between generations, which have entered the consolidated Vanity Stage format, has ended.

Through the world of Fashion, Sport, Cinema and Music, special guests, an expression of talent and excellence, spoke with Vanity Fair in unique interviews.

The first Fashion appointment: It’s not a new normal, it’s a new freedom saw French artist Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, artistic director of United Colors of Benetton, and Austrian designer Arthur Arbesser in an interview. With them we explored the many facets of freedom in a fashion key: creative freedom, inspiration, boundaries, gender and movement, touching on themes such as ecology, cultural appropriation, inclusion, the choices of gen Z and the digital revolution.

Sport, passion and goals: the freedom that comes from the discipline was the focus of the second meeting. Former Olympic champion and former captain of the Italian team Filippo Magnini chatted with 18-year-old Larissa Iapichino, a great promise of Italian athletics, to discover their passion and their goals, those already cut and those still to be achieved.

The third Vanity Stage FREEDOM, entitled A job called freedom, was dedicated to cinema: the young actress Denise Tantucci, 23, confronted Anna Foglietta, 41, one of the most popular faces of Italian cinema. We talked with them about freedom of expression, talent and imagination but also about career, goals and new goals.

The fourth and final appointment, Freedom to be different: how to conquer an artist identity, saw the singer-songwriter Francesco Gabbani, 38, in dialogue with the young singer-songwriter Federica Carta, 21, to talk about freedom of expression, music and projects.

All the appointments were streamed on vanitystage.vanityfair.it/benetton-2020, the platform created ad hoc by Vanity Fair which recorded over 120,000 visits along the cycle of meetings; on it.benetton.com/l/vanity-fair-stage-freedom, the digital platform of United Colors of Benetton; and on the Facebook and Youtube channels of the two brands.

Partner of this initiative, United Colors of Benetton: the clothing brand recognized all over the world for its colors, knitwear and sustainability. The result of the union between Italian creativity and global research, the United Colors of Benetton collections offer stylish and quality garments.
